Square environment Sandbox while you are testing. Production when the terminal is taking real cards. Square application ID From the food operator’s Square application. The food total is paid to whichever Square account owns that application. Venue access token The OAuth token that application gives your venue. It is stored on this server and is not shown again. Leave this blank to keep the saved token. Webhook signature key Proves that payment updates came from Square. Stored on this server and not shown again. Leave this blank to keep the saved key. Square location ID The venue location whose open checks this app should read. Square Terminal device ID The paired terminal that wakes for the single tap. Venue name Shown to staff on the check screen. The card statement uses the venue’s Square business name. Food vendor name The food operator’s name, shown next to the food lines. Currency Must match the venue’s Square location, for example GBP. Drink category IDs Comma-separated Square menu category IDs. Those items stay with the venue. Every other categorised item is paid to the food operator.
